A Story of Surrender

If someone leaves, they were never meant to stay. We never really lose anything; nothing is ours to begin with. When you feel that someone doesn't see your worth or value, trust two things:

  1. It is your job to always KNOW your own worth and value. Never your job to convince others of it.

  2. There is someone (probably many people) out there that does see it and/or will.

When we practice the art of surrender, we start to realize that we are always winning. The universe is never taking from you, it is always creating abundant space for what is actually aligned and in your highest interest. When we surrender and let go, we are allowing the spaciousness for growth, expansion, joy, and all the good stuff we so deeply desire. We often block ourselves from experiencing these things because of fear. So when you feel that it's dark and you're grieving the loss of someone or something in your life, lean into gratitude. Try and find the excitement! What's coming is better than what has been. Trust the process, beautiful soul!

It might not make sense right now, but I promise it will. You are RIGHT ON TRACK.

It takes SO MUCH determination to remember that pursuing your own inner truth is the only real quest in this life. Your life starts to change when you decide to pursue who you are and surrender. Everything else is just insecure and ego based. "Who did what?", "What else can go wrong?", and "Why did this happen to me?" These questions don't get us to where we want to go. We have to own our own healing journey, we have to own our own path.

So the work is having the determination to stay positive each and every day. The truth is sometimes it's hard work to choose to feel good. It takes effort. But I keep realizing, more and more, that it is a choice. And it takes a great deal of focus and determination to not slip into negative thinking and self pity or some other dark thought hole. It is easy to give way to the darkness. So I challenge you, don't give in and don't give up. Let life move through you and choose joy. Choose to see the beauty of surrendering to the magic and the grand adventure of this life. Choose not to be negative, even if it's just for a day. Try it. Just for today.

I promise you - you are right on track.

Surrender, my loves!
